Mimi Duff is a Senior Client Advisor at GenTrust and part of our Advisory Team. Mimi’s responsibilities include developing and serving institutions, high net worth individuals and family relationships. Prior to joining GenTrust, Mimi amassed more than 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, specializing in U.S. Fixed Income portfolio management, trading, research, and strategy.

She began her career at Goldman Sachs in 1993 and spent 11 years in the New York and London offices in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities divisions. She focused on the USD rates businesses and ran several trading and syndicate desks in New York and London, following some foundational years in Research, Global Bond Indexing and Asset Allocation. In 2004, Mimi was hired by Barclays Capital to run their Interest Rate Swaps Trading desk, where she significantly expanded their franchise footprint through expertise, execution, and trade idea generation. In 2010, Duff joined Tudor Investment Corporation as the U.S. fixed income portfolio manager and strategist within the Flow of Funds Research and Trading Group. The group covered all major macro asset classes including global fixed income, equities, FX and commodities.

Since leaving Tudor, Mimi has worked as a consultant, most recently as a Fixed Income Product manager for Kensho Technologies, an artificial intelligence and machine learning company. Mimi graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. Mimi is also a frequent contributor to CNBC and Bloomberg news, and lives in Greenwich, CT with her husband and four daughters.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Gisselle was a Tax Director in the NY Metro Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance practice at PWC. She has over 15 years of experience in serving financial service institutions.

Gisselle specialized in leading tax provision audits for multinational financial service organizations. Gisselle has strong knowledge on the testing of internal controls over the tax process. She has experienced in multiple areas of taxation including, tax planning, tax compliance, mergers and acquisition, real estate investment partnerships, and tax examinations. Gisselle is knowledgeable of cross border and international tax issues.

Gisselle holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree as well as a Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University of Miami. Gisselle is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and NY. Gisselle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jennifer’s wealth of knowledge has been invaluable in supporting various industries, ranging from renewable energy, financial services, and real estate.

Jennifer Munger

Director, Advisory Services - Marcum LLP

Jennifer Munger is a director in the Firm’s Financial Accounting and Advisory (FAAS) Services practice in the Greenwich, CT office. She has over 20 years of experience in US GAAP, focused on technical controllership, transaction advisory, and accounting policy. Jennifer’s wealth of knowledge has been invaluable in supporting various industries, ranging from renewable energy, financial services, and real estate.

Before joining Marcum, Ms. Munger was a Technical Accountant at GE Capital where she supported the company with structuring transactions, complex technical accounting matters, as well as served many roles in transaction advisory, controllership, mergers and acquisitions, and SEC financial reporting. Ms. Munger’s experience includes providing accounting and advisory services with a focus on effectively communicating complex technical accounting and external reporting issues to facilitate strategic solutions and drive transparent financial reporting and disclosure. Ms. Munger’s skill set includes technical accounting, tax incentive structures for renewable investments (including HLBV), due diligence reviews, adoption of new accounting standards, M&A transactions, valuations, business process improvements, and internal controls, including SOX 404 compliance.

Ms. Munger is passionate about her role as a Financial Accounting & Advisory Services leader impacting business growth and maximizing profits through understanding of complex transactions and strategic business alternatives and advise on ways to optimize structures to meet business objectives given her proven career in accounting and transactional advisory executive services.

Andy’s background in personal injury defense work and experience in dealing with insurance carriers helps her achieve favorable outcomes for individuals who have sustained personal injuries, including those injured in motor vehicle accidents, on construction sites, and as a result of slip/trip and falls.

Andy handles all types of civil and commercial litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, real estate/land use, contract, construction and other similar types of disputes from pleadings and motion practice through trial and appeals, when necessary. She also has experience handling other types of matters including securities fraud, business disputes, zoning appeals and will contests.

Andy brings to the Litigation team her experience in defense work, her skill at analysis and strategizing, and her meticulous attention to factual details crucial to successful management and favorable resolution of cases. For example, Andy secured judgment before trial in her client’s favor after he was injured on a construction site. In another matter, Andy successfully defeated a claim for adverse possession and secured reimbursement of her client’s attorneys’ fees.

Andy is on the Board of Directors of the YWCA Greenwich, an organization dedicated to empowering women and girls, eliminating racism, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. She is also on the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels of Greenwich, a chapter of a national organization that delivers meals to those who are homebound. Andy is also a member of the Junior League of Greenwich.
